Walking is exercise

Half day as usual. Fortunately, I was not held up by the Puregold incident. After a quick lunch at granny's, I planned to go to GSC for both thesis and non-thesis related errands.

The thing is, I can't take the LRT-MRT route for obvious reasons. So I took an FX to Buendia where I walked over to Harry's Liquor and Harrison House of Wine. Nice selections especially for the ones I'm looking for.

I just took the bus to Ayala but unfortunately, the one I rode on only goes up to the Enterprise Towers. So a few more minutes of walking. Good thing I ate lunch then. After that, Taking the MRT during the noontime rush hour is definitely something I want to avoid now.

Decided to visit the EDSA Shrine and found something worth a second look (I'll be back, eventually). And then a short jeepney ride to GSC.

At GSC, I thought of looking at the Holy Family Gallery and I wasn't disappointed. For one thing, its free to go in there. Just ain't allowed to take photos (not that I mind). I got the contacts I needed, and I was able to visit eyo sales on the third floor so my list was crossed out for the day.

Heading back, I really had no idea what came over me. I decided to walk from GSC to the Ortigas MRT station. Given, it wasn't the longest walk I took. And I wasn't stupid enough to wear my jacket that time. Anyway, its exercise. By the time I got to MRT Ayala station, I was kind of tired. So I took the bus home instead of the FX. Which also means I didn't get to play at TimeZone and I didn't get a sweet refill. Well, doesn't matter much anyway. Doraemon was gone for quite a while. Maybe I'll play again when he's back.

And no, walking is NOT my favorite pasttime.

One Long Day

Thinking that a day would be like any other proved to be a big mistake.

After lunch, we hung out in the corridor. Torch "MANTECH boy" Torchiva got addicted to playing Bleach on the PSP. Our ENPROMA class was "rudely" (read yaaaaay!!!) interrupted by a power interruption. When the power returned, "bra" showed his magician's skills by making the power go out again. Long story short, we cut around 30 mins from enproma class.

At ecelaws, engrduls confronted me with several contorts to a not-so-simple case. Jeeez. I am so definitely gonna pay her back. Nyahahahaha!!! When I eventually study for it.

I fell asleep at feedcon. This is one thing I do in class that I really miss my friends for. No one wakes me up before the prof finds out anymore. No matter, I was able to redeem myself (sort of) because of the seatwork. My hand hurt after all that writing though.

Good thing tomorrow is a half-day for me. Still hadn't reached halfway of the HPMPG case. Might get to see my aunt and uncle tomorrow too. Could turn out to be another busy day.

A Weekend of Thoughts

A friend of mine told me that "Thinking per sè gets us stressed, not thinking about our experiences". Now I always thought that experiences make us think about them, but the more I think about it, that isn't always the case.

I've spent the past weekend thinking. Even when I agreed to go to the courts with my parents, I was still thinking. "How far have I gone?", "What do I still have to do?", "What do I want to accomplish?"

Recently, I added another thing to the list of things I want to do. That is, an addendum to the already lengthy list I have. Will I ever get to accomplish all of them in my lifetime? There it goes, another question in this mind of mine.

The last question of mine happened to be related to the irony of life. Perhaps it was due to the circumstances of the weekend, relating to the reason why we didn't go to mass last night.

Still, in case anyone bothers to point out, these questions don't relate to my studies. I have already accepted the facts regarding my studies long before writing this entry.

"Each outcome is the result of infinite causes converging into a single point."

-man, my friends were right. I do think too much.
