Glass... Among Others

I know I'm not, nor will I ever be. That is because you are even though you didn't have to.

I take to the glass because I want to, for reasons heard only by few.

In time what waits is inevitable. But when the inevitable waits no longer, only time will tell.

Willingness is not "it". Nor is it half of "it". It takes willingness, knowledge, effort and focus to make "it" and even then each of these cannot describe "it".

Promises ARE made to be broken. Because the more someone means to you, the more you try to keep that promise no matter what comes up to make you break it.

--these are some random shots of thinking I had a few hours ago up to posting. no, none are inter-related. no, they don't necessarily have anything to do with me. as stated earlier, random shots of thought. just one of the things a boring sermon does to me.

New method of Carjacking *Repost

repost ko lang ulit para sa ibang tao. galing ito sa friend ng sister ng friend ko.

This is a blog coming from a friend: Please pass it around and inform your love ones and friends about it.

Just last weekend on Friday night we parked in a public parking area. As we drove away I noticed a sticker on the rear window of the car. When I took it off after I got home, it was a receipt for gas. Luckily my friend told me not to stop as it could be someone waiting for me to get out of the car. Then we received
this email yesterday:

WARNING FROM POLICE THIS APPLIES TO BOTH WOMEN AND MEN:
BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE -
A NEW WAY TO DO CARJACKINGS

Heads up everyone!
Please, keep this circulating... You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine and shift into Reverse.

When you look into the rear view mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the carjackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off . They practically mow you down as they speed off in your car.

And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car. So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!

BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.

If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive away. Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you read this email. I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women. A purse contains all kinds of personal information and identification documents, and you certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong hands.

Please keep this going and tell all your friends.

In memoriam, Ms Tetch

Augustinians, (esp. 4th yr Augustine SY03-04) one of our teachers, Ms Tetch, left us last Saturday. The cause of death was a heart attack during her sleep.

As verified by Mrs. Cruzada earlier this evening, her son informed the school of his mother's passing. Her remains are currently in the US and will be cremated before being sent back here.

Let us pray for her soul, that she now is in the company of our Father.

For those of you that may have forgotten about her, she was our teacher in research at Colegio San Agustin, Biñan and her grandson frequently visited our class. She is also in our fourth year class picture.

Before it gets worse...

I screwed up quite a bit. Forgetting my jacket this past Wednesday probably started it. Oh wait that's not it. GOING TO SCHOOL last Wednesday was the start of it. Had to go through several walks in the cold rain before entering an air-conditioned mall. I knew I was screwed when it started not feeling normal. I knew I was gonna end up sick. Just not when. Well, I don't have to wait any longer for that. So before it gets worse, I guess I'd better stay home tomorrow.

First Day Laughtrip

When you're getting old, you lose track of things. Now, I'm not THAT old yet. But I do tend to lose track once in a while. Take today for example. Now, I KNOW that I only have one class so far. My special classes have to be applied for next week. But I never bothered to double-check what day my class was on so here I am now. It's raining, I forgot my jacket and umbrella, and my class is tomorrow. At least I saw some people I know today. But still. I could do so much more at home.

Well, at least it made me laugh. Even when it was happening to me.

Shredding off the past

Taking it a bit literally, I have, in fact, decided to rid my room of some of the garbage littering it by attempting to forget some of the annoying bits of the previous term. If you actually gave a damn to my past term, you might have an idea what I'm talking about. Page after page of powerpoints, review materials that weren't used for their purpose. Well, that's behind me now. I would burn them if not for its environmental impact. Well, this is kind of fun too. And yeah, I AM ENJOYING THIS BWAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!
